Bigger Than Oneself

When I was younger, it was all about what I can get. What’s in it for me?

I want to be a millionaire, running his own business. I want to have a sixpack and look good. Why should I even spend time with you? What can I get.

As I grew older… I realized that I was weak. Needing stuff to feel good. It was to fill a hole.

There is nothing wrong with the things listed above. But it is the intention that matters!

As I grew to be a man, I realized that it is not only about me. It is my service to the world. WHAT CAN I GIVE? I am asking myself now.

To live for a purpose bigger than oneself… that’s what is driving a man!
